The meeting Mae called to order by Chairperson Teresa Coldenith.
The minutes wore read and approved.
Teresa read the Librsrlem report. It Mae moved and seconded that we encourage Bev
to persue use of the paperback Laminating machine, Motion passed.
The de- prooessing of wormed books by the Friends will talus place on May 12 and 13.
The vouchers were signed.
It was suggested that a current monthly and previous Alendar year circulation
figures be posted in the library for patron interest.
It was reported that the CBTA replacement is Mary Young.
It was announced that the planning meeting for the Xnergy Fair will be May 5 at 7130.
Thus was discussion of the pros and cons of lending the movie projectoar.
Bev Lamb will be working on an evaluation form. She will welcome suggestions.
We need to start preparing for next years budget. We will also need to start
preparing a job description for a full -tine library assistant.
Friends have a new president, Dwun Lewis.
It was suggested that we make ourselves familiar with the Libarary gervioe and
Construction. Act,
It Mae moved and seconder that we give Bev our full support of continuing to
Pero. the proposal for LSCA grant and that Bev write a letter to the WAPC in-
dioatimg our suppoart and requesting that we be kept fully inforned of all progsess.
If there is some special report, such as this grant, in the fracture we would like it
to be made available to the board a few days before the board meeting.
