HomeMy WebLinkAbout0426730 April 26, 1973 The The Port Townsend Library Board met at 4 p.m. Those present were Crist, Kilham, Harms, Stuart and Wallin. The minutes were read and approved. Mrs. Wallin reported that many more children are using the Library now that word seems to have been passed around that there are new books in that department. They are now entitled to Statewide City Retirement which will deduct 5% from their salaries and the city will pay 6.1 %. A new book has been received from authors Grant and Holly Gilmore who write on the subject of horticulture. They now live in Carmel, but are thinking of moving here. All the vouchers were signed with the exception of the telephone bill which has not yet arrived. Mrs. Wallin hopes to attend the convention at Ocean Shores in May. Mr. Kilham is definitely going and will take anyone from the Board who might be interested.
