Trustees of the Port Townsend Library Board met at the library on
January 6th. Present were Chr Potthoff, TIr Nichols, Yrs Hunt and
Mrs Wallin.
Yleetin�, was called to order bj7 Chr Potthoff.
Tugs Wallin stated that Defeo Brothers had been contacted in regard
to repair of counter top on the front desk. This is in a very bad
state, also the drawer needs repair. Bid would be for labor and
material. She also mentioned relocation of some of t1he book cases,
as more space is needed in the library itself, as we ht:ve many new
people coming in.
She showed the member.:thc new copy machine, which has been installed
by Olympic Printers, and a charge of ten cents will. be made for each
sheet copied.
Other repairs to the building were considered, namely, repair of the
downstaivs rear door, and to the canopy over th< front entrance, which
the members condisered most essentidal. This would cost approximately
'11;1.50. dollars. TvIIrs Wallin was asked to et an estimate on this repair.

The Board members have agreed to raise the wage of extra adult help
to two dollars and hour. Council membef9s should be apprized of this
decision. (Fxtra wage fund is 12500.). Mrs Wallin finds it is nec-
essary to have two persons on th.e floor at all tunes.
