Trustees of f,b.e Soa.rd met at the Library i�Tovember 6, for a reg-
ular meeting;. Present ,FwTere Chr Pottho.ff, Tr Chul- j i.an, ,Ji_ss Hill., Mrs
Hunt ,and 1,4rs `jallin.
This is the first regular meeting since Tviay, although Mrs Vi'allin
has been in touch. witl-a the Board members during the summer.
nVirs lkal.lin c_ive her reports for the past three months, �znd re-
viewed circulation and events da_tring the summer. She spoke particularly,
of tale teen -alters who meet at the library, and also of t1a.e carvi-ng on
tables and the drawings in books, done by Irou.nclersters.
It is the consensus of the members that ob the nights when the
library is most, used b7T the young people, more than one person should
be on the floor.
Mrs Wallin referred to a meeting had occurred in May, when
Miss Doyle, T.;'..brary Consultant from Olympic, spoke to a group regard -
ins; a library district. If t11-Lis district is formed, (and it is to
comte before the voters) we sliotil.d be ready to serve the rural, area
with some extra service. She asked the members to be thinki.nQ about
this, and what we coti.l_.d do.
Regarding repair to the library - -The board room has .recentl7,r
been painted, magazines are in order in tb,e stack room, and books are
in order.
