• Trustees of the Library Board met June 7_st, at the library. Present
were Chr. Deits, 10,r Pothoff, Miss Hill, Miss Rutledge and Mrs Hunt.
Minutes of the May 4th meeting were read and approved.
Miss Rutledge gave the librarian's report, which is on file.
She asked Yr Deits to inspect a bookcase in the children's depart-
ment which she wished cut in half, and moved for more space.
Miss Rutledge reviewed the agreement with the Encyclopedia Americana,
stating we will divide the arr!ount of payment -- ',"1123.00 in 1965, a ,114.00
in February of 1966.
We have magazines that shound be discarded - -Mr Pothoff and Mr Deits
to help with this. Mr Pothoff also to see about refinishing; front door
of building.
More books are needed from the 3rd to Junior High group. Friends of
the library have volunteered to assist with this. 1''riends of Library have
also volunteered to aid with typing.
The Board reviewed applications received for the position of librarian.
Miss Hill had written a Mrs Danielson, reply to her letter has not yet been
received. The members agreed that we shound abandon two applications
received -- namely devil7_e and Cordez, because of the age of these applicants.
Members apreed to await Mrs Danielson's reply.
Meeting adjourned at 2:40 P.M.
