Committee Reports
1. Building Committee
The building committee reported that we have three bids for repair to
the canopy: Townsend Builders ($1411.00), Johnson & Little ($148+5.00),
and Barnham ($2300.00).
It was moved and seconded that the bid from Johnson & Little be chosen
as Townsend Builders would not be able to begin the project for
several weeks.
Rob reports that the parts for the drinking fountain have been mislaid
& that it might not be fixable without them.
There is a leak at the roof peak and it might be necessary to have a
. roofer survey the roof. The fiberglass over the skylight needs
replacing.
General funding sources and planning were discussed with the Mayor and
Council Members present. The need for comprehensive planning with
county and other city departments was stressed.
2. Contract Committee
No response has been received to letter to the Jefferson County
Library re contract negotiations and non - resident service. The
negotiations committee will contact Helen Shold and set up anther
meeting.
