' _'~i.~i'~ ..¥.~'~ BLOCK 6, OF PETTIGROVE'S FIRST ADDITION TO THE" Ci~TY OF PORT TOWNSEND; ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS TO~%~LE STREET VACATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF PORT TOWNSEND IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That that portion of platted but unopened Cos- grove Street abutting Lots 7 and 8 in Block 6, Pettigrove's First Addition to the City of Port Townsend, more particularly described in attached Exhibit A hereto which is by this reference incorpor- ated herein as if set forth in full, be and the same is hereby vacated. Section 2. That the street vacation aforementioned is con- ditioned, however, on the following: A. That all fees and compensation pursuant to Chapter 12 of the Port Townsend Municipal Code must first be paid by the street vacation applicant to the City Treasurer for the City of Port Townsend, and upon such payment, that a certified copy of this Ordinance shall then be recorded by the City Clerk with the Jef- ferson County Auditor. B. That the street vacation shall be cancelled and become automatically null and void one year from the date of this Ordin- ance if said fees and compensation have not been paid by the ap- plicant and received by the City Treasurer. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law, and after it has been recorded with the Jefferson County Auditor pursuant to Section 2 of this Ordinance.
