Minutes of last meeting: Voted on and approved
Communications:
• George commended us for all the work involved in passing the levy. He said that the
Council appreciates the effort involved in creating a sustainable revenue for Library and will
present the Campaign Committee with a proclamation.
Caitlin mention that a new resident, a former special education teacher, chose PT because of our
City Library and its feeling of community.
Director's Report: see Theresa's September- report with following additional items:
• The Spirit of Crew More people are needed for this team building program. Eileen was
suggested for the vacant slot.
• Summer Reading — Jean will do a study of the general impact of the program to find out
how many children sign up and how many follow through.
• Levy — Theresa mentioned, that if we are asked we should let people know that there is no
money in the levy for programming
• Pink House - renovation plans are in the works, more later.
• • Signage— this is one of the next projects on Theresa's list.
Meeting Time - It was decided that the date and time for future meetings be changed to the 3ra
Monday of the month at 4:00 to 5:30 pm
Meeting adjourned at 10:320 a.m.
