AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND NAMING AND
DESIGNATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY AS WATERFRONT PLACE
AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION.-~
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Port Townsend does here and hereby
name and designate the following described right-of-way within the
City as Waterfront Plaqe.., to wit:
The existing platted alleyway lying between Lots 2 through
8 and Lots 1 through 7 of Block 6 of the original Townsite
of the City of Port Townsend, extending from Madison Street
to Quincy Street.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its pas-
sage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by la~
Section 3. That the City Clerk beandis hereby authorized to re-
cord this Ordinance or a certified copy hereof with the Jefferson
County Auditor following its effective date.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the City
Council for the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor on
