AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF UNOP~[?GO~¥:':
GROVE STREET EXTENDING FROM THE EASTERN BOUNDARY OFI~:
OAK STREET TO A PROJECTION OF THE SOUTHWES~E~R~-'BOUW~Z~
DARY OF LOT 5, BLOCK 6, PETTYGROVE'S ADDITION, AT A
RIGHT ANGLE TO THE SOUTHEASTERN BOUNDARY OF COSGROVE
STREET, AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section ]. That that portion of unopened Cosgrove Street ex-
tendi[g from the Eastern boundary of the Oak Street right-of-way
to a projection of the Southwestern boundary of Lot 5, Block 6,
Pettygrove's Addition to the City of Port Townsend, at a right
angle to the Southeastern boundary of Cosgrove Street, be and the
same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the City does hereby retain a lO-foot-wide
utility easement through the Northernmost portion of the Cosgrove
Street right-of-way, extending from the Eastern boundary of the
Oak Street right-of-way to the Eastern boundary extension of Tax
Lot 24, Section 2, Township 30 North, Range ] West, W.M., situate
in the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County, Washington.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided
by law, and after it has been recorded with the Jefferson County
Auditor.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
City Council for the City of Port Towp~end and sign~ed by t~ Mayor
