MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF NOVEMBER 1, 2006
CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend met in regular session this first day
of November, 2006, at 6:30 p.m. in the Port Townsend temporary Council
Chambers in the Port Townsend Fire Station conference room, Mayor Mark
Welch presiding.
ROLL CALL
Council members present at roll call were Frank Benskin, Geoff Masci, Laurie
Medlicott, Catharine Robinson, Michelle Sandoval, Mark Welch, and Scott
Walker.
Staff members present were City Manager David Timmons and City Attorney
John Watts.
CLOSED RECORD PUBLIC HEARING ON MURPHY SHORT PLAT APPEAL
Appeal of Administrative Decision by Hearing Examiner which approved the
application of Sheila Murphy for a short plat.
No Councilor stated any conflict of issue or appearance of fairness issue, and no
one objected to any Councilor's participation. Appellants and respondents
presented their arguments regarding the SEPA appeal.
COUNCIL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
DELIBERATION
After a brief question and answer period, Councilors recessed to Executive
Session for deliberations at 7:30 p.m.
RECONVENE
The Council reconvened at 8:30 p.m. The Mayor announced that findings of fact
and a decision would be presented at a future meeting.
ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:31 p.m.
