ORDINANCE NO. 1691
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CURRENT
EXPENSE FUND IN THE SUM OF $14,455, FOR THE STREET FUND
IN THE SUM OF $18,788, FOR THE SEWER FUND IN THE SUM OF
$4,400, FOR THE WATER FUND IN:THE SUM OF $4,400, AND FOR
THE GARBAGE FUND IN THE SUM OF $5,272, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; ALL IN THE 1973 BUDGET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO'ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is here and hereby appropriated, as a supplement
to the 1973 budget of the City of Port Townsend, for the departments,
funds and purposes set forth, the following sums: In the current
exepense fund; for the Engineer's wages and fringe benefits, $4,755;
for the Police Department, $200 for laundry, $200 for vehicle repair,
$400 for gas and oil and $100 for uniforms; for non -departmental capital
outlay for an accounting machine, $8,800. For the street Fund, for
salaries and fringe benefits, $13,788, and for equipment maintenance and
gasoline, $5,000. For the Sewer Department, $4,400 for capital outlay
for an accounting machine. For the Water Department, $4,400 for capital
outlay for an accounting machine. For the Grabage Department: $422 for
Social Security and retirement, $450 for fuel, and $4,400 for capital
outlay for an accounting machine.
Section 2. There is here and hereby found and declared to be an
emergency requiring the above and foregoing appropriations.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first time November G, 1973. Read for the second
and third times, passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on
November 20, 1973. l
