AN ORDINANCE AMENDING-S-2TION 15 OF ORDI-
NANCE 1G35, AND REQUIRING COMPLIANCE WITH
STATE 'GAbU3LING LAWS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF T11L CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLI,D, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. •Section 15 of Ordinance 1635, passed in 1972,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 15. Every person who opens, conducts, carries
on or operates, whether as owner, manager, agent, dealer, clerk or
employee, and whether for hire or not, any gambling game which is
not permitted under Chapter 218 of the Laws of 1973, Extraordinary
Session, of the State of Washington, or amendments thereto, or who
shall engage in any game of chance or amusement for which a license
is required by the City of Port Townsend, and which license has not
been obtained, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect on July 16,
1973, after publ c tion in the manner required by law.
Read for the first, second and third time, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on June 5, 1973.
