HomeMy WebLinkAbout2391 Amending Ordinance 2383 - Increasing Public Works Fees and ChargesORDINANCE NO..~ I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2383 INCREASING CERTAIN FEES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BY AMENDING SECTION 3.36.020 OF THE PORT TOWNSEND MUNICIPAL CODE AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1994. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3.36.020 of the Port Townsend Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 3.36.020 Public Works Service Fee Schedule. The fees and charges listed hereinbelow for services of the Public Works Department are hereby established. The fees and charges shall be paid in advance unless an alternate method of payment is specifically approved by the Director of Public Works. The continuance or establishment of water and/or sewer service by the City shall be contingent upon payment of all fees and charges contained herein. The following schedule of fees and charges shall be used: Fees and Charges Summary Descri pti on Ch arges Ao Developer Application and Preapplication Fee Under Section 12.04.180 Water, Sewer, Storm Drainage and Street and Utility Development Permit $180.00' * The preapplication fee shall be credited against the charges for a development application for water, sewer, storm drainage and street and utility permits when an application for the same proposal which is filed within twelve months after the preapplication is acted upon. If more than four and one half hours of total review and process time is required, an additional hourly charge based on the rates set forth in Chapter 3.36 shall be made.
