Home My WebLink About1743 Property Tax Levy for 1976 ORDINANCE NO. 1743 AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADOPTING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1976. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. For the current expense of general City government, for the year 1976, the sum of $3.38 on each One Thousand Dollars of assessed valuation is levied upon all of the taxable property in the City. Section 2. For Firemen's Relief and Pension, for the year 1976, the s~m of 22~ on each One Thousand Dollars of assessed valuation is levied upon all of the taxable property in the City. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
