HomeMy WebLinkAbout2732 Public Education and Government (PEG) Access Television Studio FeesORDINANCE NO. ~ ~/ ~ ~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND REVISING AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE PUBLIC, EDUCATIONAL AND GOVERNMENT ACCESS TELEVISION STUDIO WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend has established and operates a Public, Education and Government (PEG) Television Access Studio located at the Port Townsend High School; and WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the PEG Coordinating Committee to review public membership and training rates and fees for the studio to establish a more conservative, cost-effective and programmatic budget for the public function of the studio; and WHEREAS, the PEG studio operations manager has made recommendations to the PEG Coordinating Committee for rate and fee adjustments and these recommendations have been discussed in public sessions and at a half day retreat; and WHEREAS, the PEG Coordinating Committee has recommended the following revised rates and fees which more accurately reflect rates common in other municipalities, and which also reflect the amount of administrative support required for public membership; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend does ordain as follows: Section 1.
