Must be integral color stable material free from warping, expansion and contraction. 4.0 MATERIALS AND FINISHES 4.1 Wood: unless noted otherwise, all wood to be hardwood, with a stain and polyurethane finished in accordance with the Western Wood Products Association grade descriptions. 4.2 Unless otherwise noted all metal brackets and fasteners to be finished smooth with no sharp edges. 4.3 Before applying any finish to exhibits, Fabricator to supply Museum and Designer with 2 finish samples on specified materials for approval. 5.0 LIGHTING 6.0 ELECTRICAL 6.1 Fabricator responsible for providing electrical connections from available power outlets (floor, ceiling, wall) within the museum space to all exhibits. All connection methods are to meet local and state electrical codes. 6.2 Where exhibits cover electrical boxes or outlets, fabricator responsible for providing concealed panels to provide access to all connections whether shown on drawings or not.
