Dan From: jmcdonagh@cityofpt.us To: tecatesummer@hotmail.com CC: fslota@cityofpt.us Date: Wed, 2 Dec 2009 12:05:21 -0800 Subject: RE: Cracker Factory BP Hi Dan, We issued the BP yesterday along with mechanical for his use of propane tanks on his property. He plans to have a gas range in his residential unit. If you’re able to secure a perpetual easement to access the tanks from the underlying property owner (Richard Grandy), you can apply for a change of occupancy permit for the dwelling unit. Once that was approved, you could use that area as a dwelling (instead of the office space as it was previously permitted).. If you’re only able to get a temporary agreement to access the tanks, you could use it for occupancy of the restaurant, but that would be your (and your tenants) own risk. If the temporary agreement were to somehow terminate, the restaurant would have a hard time operating. Hope that helps & Happy Holidays to you as well.
