GENERAL CONDITIONS
Permit # BLD04167R-I
1. Contractors working on this project are required to have a Labor & Industries contractor's registration number and a
City business license. Failure to provide proof of this documentation prior to work may result in job shut down while this
is accomplished.
2. Temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) measures shall be installed on-site and inspected prior to beginning
construction; call 385-2294. Measures shall include installation of silt fencing and graveled construction entrance (see
attached details). Adjacent rights-of--way shall be kept free of dirt debris. Soils exposed during construction shall be
temporarily stabilized with mulching, plastic sheeting, etc. Soils shall be permanently stabilized with seeding, plantings,
sodding, etc. once construction is complete. Applicant is responsible for protection of adjacent properties.
3. All elements of engineering including nailing, holdowns, sheathing, and alternate braced wall panels (A13WP) require
inspection prior to cover.
4. Owner or owner's agent shall review and oversee correction of any and all deficiencies noted by required inspections.
5. Re-inspection is required after inspection report corrections are completed.
6. The Building Department is unable to pass final inspection on your project until Public Works requirements have been
completed and inspected. For Public Works inspection ca1138~2294. A minimum of twenty-four hours notice is required.
Public Works approval must be received prior to schedulin¢ the Building Department's final inspection.
7. Final Inspections are required prior to occupancy; A Certificate of Occupancy is required far anon-residential project.
8. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections are done by the Building
Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to keep your building permit active.
9. Revisions require submittal and approval prior to making changes in the field. Contact the Building Department (379-
3208) prior to making changes to the approved plans.
10. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.

'this department is in receipt of the set of plans for the above-referenced. proposal from your office.
The above-reference proposal was reviewed by this department relative to the iJnforn Fire Code
[U.F.C.], 1997 Edition, and the following constitutes this department's findings and. determinations based
upon the plans of record submitted.
Findines & Determinations:
1. Occupancy Class: The proposal was reviewed as integral to a Group A Division 3 occupancy with a
Type II and V-N construction classifications; and,
2. The proposed nesting of four 120 gallon LPG tanks is found consistent with Uniform Fire Code Table
8204-.A, Footnote #4 rule for aggregate capacity of les than 500 gallons, and allows no structural. setback,
and allows no [zero] container separation, and;
3. Perimeter of tank enclosure is found to retain fifty [50] percent open to air consistent with code, and
Table 8404-A Footnote 2 for overhead projection of less than five [5] feet, and.;
4. There shall be no openings in construction below the proposed proposed in-wall project location, and;
5. The proposed 2" x 4" pony wall centerlined under the proposed tanks shall be a UBC "braced wall"
per UBC Section 2326, and; the proposed new opening headers and ceiling joists shall be be provide with
a "positive connection" to the respective header and wall assembly through the use of metal "strong ties",
and;
6. The proposal is subject to Article 87 "Fire Safety During Construction" of the U.F.C., and;
Any other applicable or relevant sections of said Code not covered herein shall nonetheless apply to this
proposal.
