The Employer and Teamsters agree to allow a COLA wage adjustment reopener for 2025 and/or 2026 if CPI -
West percentage is at least 1 % higher or lower than the 3% -6% range.
Base pay rate is the hourly rate paid! to Police Officers without longevity, educational incentive or other specialty
pay.
Regular or straight time rate is the hourly rate paid to Police Officers ,,,--ith the addition of applicable longev-it:y
rate, and/or educational, or specialty assignment pay. This rate does not include specialty pay.
Specialty pay are amounts paid to Police Officers for special assignments, like phone pay, plain clothes
allowance, or Field Training Officer (FTO) pay. Special assignments are at the discretion of the Chief of Police,
unless othenvise established by this agreement.
