The monthly report of the Chief of Police for the month; of February, 1950, showing
arrests and disposition of cases, was presented and outlined and was referred to the Commit-
tee on Police and Licenses.
REPORTS FROM STANDING COMMITTEES
Finance and Claims
Councilman Paddock, reporting for the Committee on Finance and Claims, reported that
a check of the financial status of the 'Willow Street Sewer Fund had been made which showed
an unpaid bhlance of 51,830.08 as of January 31, 1950. Based upon prRA nt normal monthly
receipts of the fund this debt should be retired in from two- to two/on§-half years. This
report was ordered filed.
BUILDING PERMITS
Requests for Buildhg Permits were presented, read, and acted upon as follows:
From Buhler Motor Co., to -wit:
Honorable Mayor and City Council February 28, 1950
Port Townsend, Washington
Gentlemen:
Permission has been recuested to build an addition, size 551 x 501, to the Buhler
Motor Co. Showroom, situate Lot 1, Block 56, Original Townsite; at the estimated
cost of $2,500.00 for materials. Addition will be constructed of same type mnterials
as present building.
