Minutes of Regular Session of City Council_, November 15 1949 COMMUNICATIONS Communications received were presented, read and acted upon as fbllows: From the Pennsylvania Salt Manufacturing Company, to wit: . .City of Port 'Townsend Port Tavnsend, 'Washington Attn: Si Lockhart, Water Supt. Gentlemen: It has been our distinct pleasure to supply your anhydrous ammonia re- quirements during 1949 in accordance with our existing contract. We are very anxious to continue serving you in this regard and are herewith enclosing a new contract to cover your ammonia requirements for 1950. We certainly hope that this contract will meet with your approval and we shall be gratified by your expression of confidence in us when you return the signed copies.' The original will then be executed in our offices and returned to you for your records. UNFINISHED AND NE11' BUSINESS Street Vacation Hearing This ,being the date andtime set by motion of this council at previous session for a public.hearing upon the proposed vacation of portions of 15th Street and Sherman Street, the City Clerk at this time read the notice of time and place of hearing as is required by law to be given, together with affidavit of posting of same, as follows:. NOTICE OF TIME ANDPLACE OF HEARING IN THE MATTER OF THE VACATION OF A PART OF A CERTAIN STREET. - William U. Clay and Blanche h. Clay, husband and wife, having filed with th City Council, City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County, Washington, a petition request the vacation of a part of a certain street with said City, to wit: That portion of 15th Street lying between the westerly line of Hancock Street and the easterly line of Hendricks Street and that portion of Sherman Street lying between the southerly line of 16th Street and the northerly line of 14th Street, all in Eisenbeis Addition to the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County, Washington. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That pursuant to a motion duly made, seconded and passed by the, City Council of the City of Port Townsend on the 4th day of October,. 1949, the said petition will be heard at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as practic•il on Tuesday, the 15th day of November, 1949, in the Council Chambers of the City Hell of the City of Port Tansend, Jefferson County, Nashington, when and where any person or persons may appear and make exceptions. or objections to the proposed vacation.
