Water Supt. Lockhart advised the Council that the right-of-way requested was to
provide for additional access to the area and would be located roughly between the gravel
4 pit located a little north of y,uilcene in a direct line to Lords Lake. He could see no
-.- reason why it would cause any damage to city property provided that it would be located
{ so as to not interfere with t'urther development of water facilities as pertain to use
from the lake to the main supply line, but it would be beat to Investigate more fully
r
to determine that such interference would not exist. r
This matter was referred to the Water Committee, the Water Bunt. and the City Attornell
for investigation and later report.

Re: Curfew Ordinance.
Councilman Gleason introduced the matter of placing in effect in this city,a curfew,
stated that he had, in the past, opposed such action but that recent events had shown p „
a need of legislation designed to curb and control and to place responsibility for certai "{
acts and Dractices now indulged in by minors. He stated furbber that the curfew ordinancf `
now in effect in this city was badly outdated it should be replaced by an ordinance in
tune with modern practices and times. Councilman Osborne stated that he is and hoe been
at all times in favor of the 4nattment and inforcement of an un-to-date modern curi'e'a
ordinance.
It was moved by Councilman Gleason that the matter of a modern curfew ordinance be
given consideration at the next regular session and the clerk attempt to secure copies
of such ordinances in effect in other cities for consideration of the provisions of same. ( 1
This motion was seconded by Councilman Osborne and carried by voice vote of the members
present.
