UNFINISHED AND NEVI nUSINESS 'Rater Superintendent re: Ammoniator Fire 'Eater Superintendent Lockhart reported that the building storing the ❑mmoniator, in connection with the chlorinating machine, was destroyed by fire this'afternoon and requests advise in replacing the ammonfator and building. It was moved by Councilman Y.ueller, and seconded by Councilman Steele, that the struc- ture and utilities be restored and that the work be accomplished by day labor. )lotion carried. Report of Street Committee The Street Committee reported favorably upon the vacation of a part of a certain street submitted by William C. Clay, and set the date of hearing as of November 15, 1949. Councilman Paddock made the observation that In the future that care he exercised in street vacation matters, emphasizing the plot of land on the west.side of.�an Juan Ave. where a building had been placed upon a street. -; City Attorney City Attonney C. T. 'hillia ms called to the attention of the Council of the early acquisition of a zoning map.
