Resort on Washington and Adams Streets Improvement Project.
Mayor Anderson took this occasion to extend a welcome to visitors at this session y.
and extended an invitation to any present to speak before the Council..
Mr. Harvey Christian, representing City zngineer Keith Jones advised the Council that
with regard to the proposed improvement of portions of fashington and Adams Otreets
specifications had been completed and working drawings would be ready within a day or two.
:tr. Christian outlined for the Uouncil the needs and purposes for the proposed 'work and
the development of plans to accomplish this to the greatest benefit for all concerned. '
The estimated cost of the work outlined is approximately-,4,400.00, of which, approximatelyi
$1,400.00 is assessable against the abudding property, leaving an approximate cost to the
city of about $3,000.00. The project as drawn up does not provide for surfacing as it was
considered that in view of the fact the surfacing should be done at a later date such
surfacing should be made a separate project. This report was followed by a short question
and answer discussion.

ouncil that :Mr. Joe Minish had
barricaded the ends of a short area dividing his property which had been in use as a
street for many ,years. Reference to official plats show a dedicated street at or near
this location but the exact location of the street area had not been definitely determined
by survey. '1'oporgraphy at this point d6ds not lend itself to use as a street without
considerable work and expense to make condorm with acceptable street standards. A short
discussion of this:::matter followed but no dAfinite action was taken by the Council at this
time.
Re: Reservoir Repair.
