Councilman Steele inquired as to whether or not investigation had been made as to
available water pressure at this location and its sufficiency for such a project. Mr. Philp
Tyler, business agent for the petitioner stated that this matter had been taken into consi-
deration and it was felt that they heed have no worries upon this subject. Mr. Tyler
explained further that because of the fact that such homes were build with ilhvievv to sale
though the medium of r'. H. A. and G. I, loans it was necessary to secure inexpensive sites;
and construction methods required that buildings be constructed in a rather conpact group.
This request was referred to the Park Board and the City Attorney for report at a
later session.

Re: Insurance on Fire Hall
y3
Councilman Mueller reported that it had come to his attention that the new fire hall
and equipment (exclusive of vehicles) does not have any insurance coverage whatever, and
while members of the Fire Dept. are on duty at all times experience in other cities had
shown the possibility of fire loss to such structures. He stated that the city has
invested co:isiderable monies in the construction and equipment of this building and such
an investment is deserving of adequate protection.
Thi9 matter was discussed for a short time with attention being given to the availb__
ability of funds for this purpose under provisions of the current budget and it was
mutually agreed that the Committee on "ire & Light throughly investigate the possibilities
of providing insurance for the building and equipment, exclusive of fire fighting apparatus
and make recom endations to the Council at the next regular session.
ADJOURNMENT
No further business appearing for condideration by the Council at this time, it was
moved by Councilman Steele, and seconded by Councilman Gleason, that the Council do now,
