It was moved bty Councilman Steele, and seconded by councilman Sullivan that the J ' application of the 'Red Top" Gab Co., which wasCread at the last regular session and held t over for later consideration, be approved and license granted upon the same basis as those f approved earlier in the session. I -lotion carried. h 4 Gas and uil bids called ? It was moved by Councilman Mueller, and seconded by Councilman Gleason that bids be called to furnish the city with its requirements of gasoline, stove oil and diesel oil [ for the year 1949 and that such bide be opened at the regular session of the Council to be [}j held upon the first day of February, 1949. Motion carried. Re: Damage by Garbage Truck Councilman Sullivan stated that the City garbage truck had damaged a building owned by Mr. A. C. hamsdell on the 7•th day of November, 1948 and that this matter had hot sub- sequently been adjusted. This was referred to the City Attorney for investigation and recommendation. Mayor appoints department heads Mayor Anderson took this opportunity to announce the appointment of the various department heaft-cfor the ensuing term, as'follows: Engineer ..............Keith F.
