Motion carried. From Port Townsend Garden Club, to -wit; 5 June 1948 To: Hia Honor Mayor H. L. andarson & City Council, Port Townsend, Washington Gentlemen: The landscaping of the terrace undertaken by this club a few weeks ago is now about completed and we desire to turn it over to you. We employed Mr. Lerchenmueller, a well know landscape garderner, to do the work under the direction of our committee, and after a careful inspection we feel the job is well done and sincerely hope that it meets with your a-'.proval. We still have a few more shrubs to be planted some time in the futer, and re- placements to make, but will not interfere with your plans in any way. We wish to extend. our thanks to the Mayor and each member -of the City Council for his cooperation in our efforts to do our bit in beautifying the city. Very truly #ours, Clads S. li'enzler.
