That it is in the public interest that the City of Port ToWntsend should nequire, by purchase, from the United States government for municipal purposes, as contemplated under the provisions of section 9128, hemington's Revised Statutes of Wash., the lnnds, premises and personal property in the Preamble of this ordinance particularly mentioned and described. Section 2. That an emergency requiring the appropriation of money as aforesaid is be'eby found an declared to exist, and the City Clerk of the City of Port Townsend, upon presentation to him of satisfactory vouchers, and of a sufficient deed of conveyance and bill of sale, to the real anci personal property sought to be acquired by this ordinance, Issue an emergency warrant, drnwn upon the Current Expense kund of this cit+-, in an amount not exceeding the sdid sum of $6,175.00. Section 3, That this ordinance shall be published once in the Port Townsend Leader and be in force and take effect from and after five days -following such publication. It visa moved by Councilman G.eason, and seconded by Councilman Benedetto, that the bid of buhler Motor Co., as entered in full above, be accepted as being the lowest and best bid submitted. Upon roll call vote all sir. Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
