Davids and Gottsteins Additions Street Vacation Hearing.
This being the time and place set by the Council for the hearing upon the application
of Mr. Albert Guntley for the vacation of parts of certain streets in Davids Addition and
Gottsteins Addition, the notice of hearing and affidavit of posting some were read in full
at this time by the City Clerk as follows:
NOTICE OF'TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
IN THE .LATTER OF THE VACATION OF PARTS
OF CERTAIN STREETS
Albert Uuhtley, having filed with the City Council of the City of fort Townsend,
Jefferson County, Washington, a petition requesting the vacation of parts of certain stree
within said City, to -wit:
Olive Street between 37th and 39th streets; Bakers street
between 37th and 39th streets; Shasta street between 37th
and 39th streets; all in Davids Addition. Rainer street
between 37th and 39th street; Yenu street between 37th
and 39th street; all in Gottsteins Addition, and 38th
street extending the entire distance east and west across
Davids and Gottsteins Additions.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
That pursuant to a motion duly made, seconded and passed by the City Council of the
City of Port 'Townsend, on the 5th day of August, 1947, the said petition will be heardat
the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.II or as soon thereafter as practicable, on Tuesday the 21st
day of October, 1947, in the Council chambers of the City Hall, of the City of Port Townse
Jefferson County, Washington., ::hen and where any person or persons may appear and make
exceptions or objections to the propose vacation.
IN R'ITNESS 71"HEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Offidal Seal of my
office, this 15th dry of August, 1947.

C. F. CERIS'T1AN, being first duly sworn on oath, deposes and says that he is the re-
gularly elected, qualified acting City Clerk of the City of Port 'Townsend, State of Wash-
ington; that he posted notices, the annexed of which is a full, true and correct copy,
in the following places in the said City of Port Townsend, Washington, as follows:
One at the front door of the City,Hall in the City of
Port 'Townsend.
One at the front door of the Jefferson County Court House
One on the bulletin board at the corner of 'Taylor and Water
Streets in said City, and
Eight on the parts of streets sought to be vacated;
That such posting was made on the 20th day of August, 1947.

Mayor Anderson offered the opportunity at this time for any person present to speak
for or against the proposed vacation of streets as specified in the notice of hearing.
Vacation granted.
No person appearing to make objection to proposed vacation of streets, it was moved by
Councilman Gleason, and seconded by Councilman Mueller, the Council grant the vacation of
streets as requested by Mr. Guntley. Upon roll call vote all four Councilmen present voted
