Street Committee
Port Townsend, Washington

To the Honorable Mayor and City Council
of the City of Port Townsend.
Gentlemen:
Your Committee, on Streets to whom was referred the matter of vacation of
streets request of Albert Guntley would respectfully report as follows: that the
regest of the vacation of streets desired be approved.

It was moved by Councilman Carroll and seconded by Councilman Benedetto that the
proceeding report be accepted and approved by the Council as a whole. Upon roll call vote
all seven Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
6 Street Vacation Hearing Date Set.
It was moved by Councilman Mueller that the Council approve Mr. Guntley's application;
that a hearing be set for the regular meeting of the City Council to be held on October 21,
1947, and that the City Clerk post proper notices of such hearing as required by law. Upon
roll call vote all seven Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declare
- carried.

Request is made for,�thf vacation of Bryan street between Jackson and Clallam
streets. I am the sole owner of all property in Block 18, Mountain View 2nd Addition,
on the southerly side of this bl ek. I am the acting agent for Mr. and Mrs. Butcher
who are the owners of Block 107 if Pettygrove 2nd Addition covering the northerly side
of this street block. I will be glad to view the proposed vacation with the committee
at any time. It is noted that y u body is now vacating many such dead end streets and
trust that this request will be o exception.
