Port Townsend, 7,ash.
Gentlemen of the Council
.City of Port Townsend
Dear Sirs:
Please consider my application for the vacating of that part of 5th
street that comes between block 251 of Eisenbeis Addition, and state highway ,#9.
I would like to construct a building for business purposes and as it is now
I would have to nut the building back to far. As I have gone to a good deal of
expense to clear the strip, and it is not likely it would be used for a street
with the highway there. The thirty fe::t or more of highway right of tvay will take
care of any future piping the city may put down.
I hope you gentlemen will agree my application is a fair one and accept it.
Thank you
Joseph Cusack
P.S. On the other side of this sheet the area in question is shown.
