The Honorable Mayof and City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Waaning on I would like to lease that portion of Calhoun Street which is adjacent to my property at 1707 Washington Street, corner of Calhoun, for the purpose of constructing a garage and driveway to same. The portion of Calhoun Street referred to above is not at present used as a street and is groan up to weeds and underbrush. Honorable Mayor and City Council Port 'Townsend, Washington Gentlemen: You are requested arrange the official designation of SIMS ;SAY, and define its extent, at the earliest feasible date to assist the postal service operations improve- ments now under way for the fifth, six and seventh precincts. SIMS WAY was unofficially dedicated as such by civic action during the state highway extension celebration some years ago, but never officially confirmed, I am informed. I will be glad to confer with your committee in regard to the need and details of such action at any time. I am also sure that the official designation will be a generally approved permanent tribute to Mr. E. A.
