Dear Sir: In regard to your inquiry as to progress on the installation of the new street lights in the city, I have this to report: All the poles but two are set, several are cross -armed. Material on hand --we have the wire, pins, insulators, most of the guy -wire, guy clamps and circuit breakers, bolts, anchor -rods and anchors. Ile also have the 99 receptacles and insulator heads and canopies, but no pole brackets to mount them on the poles. We are short the 99 simple -arm to dead-end the wire on the fixture, the reflectors, lamp receptacles, lamps and pole brackets. Everything hasbeen ordered since last October, when the order was placed. I bought and hav held the wire ever since that date for this job, but the fixtures I could not procure. You can rest assurred that as soon as materials arrive, 1 will make it my first order of busi- ness to see that they are installed and turned on. Yours very truly, TEDD MARRIOTT Local Manager Councilman Gleason stated that the foregoing letter was tendered in accordance with his request in order that record might be made of the progress to date upon the installing of additional street lights as heretofore authorized by the Council.
