REPORTS OF OFFICERS
City Treasurer:
The monthly report of the Cit Treasurer for the month of February, 1946 was presented
nad read and referred to the committee on Finance and Claims..
Water Superintendent,
The monthly report of the Water Superintendent for the month of February, 1946 was
presented and read and was referred to the committee on Water and Drainage.
The report of the water super ntendent, showing flow of water through main line meters
for the.week ending March 18, 1946 and the Crown Zellerbach Corporation 20" meter for the
week ending March 9, 1946 was pros nted and read, and was referred to the Committee on
Water and Drainage.
BUILDING PERMITS
Requests for building permits were presented, read, and acted upon as follows:

Gentlemen: Permission is requested to move the building situate between the C.R. Crouten
Hardware Store Building, and the Jefferson County Abstract Co. Building (920 Washington St)
approximately two (2) feet.easterly, in order that said building may be entirely on the
property of the -owner of same. Respectfully submitted,

Councilman Gleason reporting for the Committee on Building and Miscellaneous, stated i
,f a hat an investigation had been made of the request of Mr. H. J. Carroll for a building per-
mit as presented at the last regular session; that the proposed work was within reasonable
la— limits and that the committee recommends approval of application.
Councilman Gleason moved that a permit be granted Mr. Carroll; the motion was seconded
71{t'(�v.��, y Councilman Benedetto and carried by, voice vote of the members present.
Cameron Granted Permit.

'I Councilman Benedetto reported that he had investigated the work proposed in the
E�rfyy kapplication for permit of J. H. Cameron as entered above , and he felt that it would entail
` o infringement of the building ordinance and moved at this time that permit be granted.
ouneilman Carroll seconded this motion, and motion was passed by voice vote of those
resent.
