ORDINANCES AIID T ESOLUTICNS
A resolution providing for the callinf of the outstanding "Indebtedness Fund" warrants,
and making payment from unobligated funds in the City Treasury, said monies to be refund-
ed from receints of the mandatory levy, was nresccnted and read in full, as follows:
R :SOLUTION 110.
'TEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
that there is in the City Treasury sufficient cash to permit the invest-
ment in certain legal obligations of said city, and that the invostt:ent
thereof in "Indebtedness 'IarvantS", of the City of Port Townsend as
heretofore validated, is r. sound financial venture and In the interest
of all citizens of said city.
3E IT T HL?ii1'JILE R*..SOLUEI), and the City Treasurer of the City of Port
Townsend be and she is hereby directed to call for payment Indebtedness -
Clarrants of the City of Port Townsend, numbered 147 to 159 inclusive,
which represents all the remaining and unpaid Indebtedness Warrants of
said city,and if and r:hen such warrants are presentee for payment, the
City Treasurer shall redeem the sar:e from the unobligated cash in her
hands and make return to the Council for future direction as to the
funds which ultimately shall be used for such redemption.
Be it further resolved, and said City Council hereby birds itself
to continute in force and effect yearly the mandatory levy for the
retirement of such warrants and discharge in numerical order.
