E. Anderson presiding. ROLL CALL Officers and members noted present upon roll call were as follows: Mayor H. L. Anderson, City Clerk, C. F. Christian, and.CounciLnen J. M. Carroll, G. F. Liueller, J. F. Maroldo, Robt. W. Brown, V1m. Lammers Sr., and Dennis Sullivan. BUDGET SESSION Mayor Anderson announced that the purpose of this session, visa the consideration of the City Budget, for the year 1945, as provided by statute. The City Clerk stated for the information of those present, that the preliminary Budget as revised by the Ltayor, was on file, and that public notice of such, and of the hearing to be held on this date, had been given. BUDGET CONSIDERATION Mayor Anderson announced that consideration of the Budget for the year 1945, was now in order; that the nature of the session, during Budget consideration and discussion, was informal, and such changes r.s are hereinafter noted, were by common unanimous agreement. The Current Expense Fund Budget, was taken up first, and read item by item, and the following changes made; Under the heading City Treasurer, the item, 1.'ages,Janitor Service, was stricken; the item,Salary, City Clerk, under the department heading, City Clerk, vras reduced from N2,520.00 to �2,400.00; in the division of Police Delnrtment, the item, Radios for Police Oars, and the item, New Police Cars, were stricken completely; under the heading Fire department, the item, Purchase of Aerial Ladder Truck, was reduced from $18,128.00 to 5y'13,128.00. The Budget of the Olympic Gravity B'star Fund, was approved as presented without change, as were also, those of the Public Library Fund, Park Hind, City Street Fund, State Aid Fund, and 'ear Liquor Tax Fund. Unanimous Changes Confirmed Upon completion of the consideration and discussion, it was moved by Councilman Maroldo and seconded by Councilman Brown, that changes in the Preliminary Budget as listed above, be now confirmed and adopted. Upon roll call vote, all six Councilmen present, voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. Complete Budget Adopted It was moved by Councilman Maroldo and seconded by Councilman Brown, that the City Budget as revised at this session, be now adopted, and that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare the necessary Ordinances confirming Budgets for the various Funds, for submission at the next regular session of the Council. Upon roll call vote, all six Councilmen present, voted in the affirmative, and motion was declared carried. ADJOURNMENT Upon motion by Councilman Maroldo, seconded by Councilman Brown, the Council voted to Adjourn. A full true and correct copy of the Budget as adopted at this session, is hereafter appended.
