ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Council for their consideration at this
time, it was moved by Councilman Carroll and seconded by Councilman Sullivan, that the
Council do now adjourn.

There :were present in the City Hall at the hour prescribed for holding sessions
of the City Council this 19th day of Sept., 1944, ulnyor H. E. Anderson, City Attorney,
W. J. Daly, City Clerk, C. F. Christian, and Councilmen Robt. 'V(. Brown, Wm. Lammers Sr.,
and Dennis Sullivan.

This being fewer than the number of Councilmen required to make a quorum, no
meeting could legally be held upon this date; and it visa mutually agreed among those
present, that a meeting should be held upon the following Tuesday, Sept. 26th, at the
regular hour, and that the Clerk send notice of such meeting to each of the Councilmen.

Sept. 26, 1944
The CITY COUNCIL, of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, met in regular session,
this 26th day of Sept., 1944, at 7:30 o{clock P.M., in the Council Chambors of the"
City Hall, Mayor H. E. Anderson presiding.
ROLL CALL

Officers and members answering present to roll call were as follows: Mayor H. E.
Anderson, City Attorney, W.• J. Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen
Vim. Lammers Sr., Dennis Sullivan, J. M. Carroll, G. F. ;dueller, and Edward Buse.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS SESSIO14
It was moved by Councilman 3lueller and seconded by Councilmnn Carroll, that the
minutes,of the previous session be approved as written. Llotion carried.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS
City Treasurer
The monthly report of the City Treasurer for the month of August, 1944, wigs
presented and read and referred to the Committee on Finance and Claims.
Water Superintendent
The monthly report of the Water Superintendent for the month of August, 1944,
was presented and read and referred to the Committee on 7fater and Drainage.
The report of the Water Superintendent showing flow of water through main line
meters, for a four day period, ending Sept. llth, and the Crown Zellerbach 20 meter,
for the week ending Sept. 9th., vies presented and read and referred to the Committee
on 'Pater and Drainage.
BUILDING PERMITS
Requests for permission to build, or to make repairs, additions or alterations,
were presented and read as follows:

Sept. 11, 1944.
Honorable Mayor and City Council
Port Townsend; Tash.
Gentlemen:
Permission is requested to make general repairs to, and build an
addition, 4V x 141, on the garage situate my property at 17th and Holcomb
Streets; at an estimated cost of approximately $15.00 for materials.
