Gentlemen:
On ::arch 25, 19-14, ce forvrarded to you six copies of a proposed contract
between the Governr.:ent and the City of Port Townsend for the suppl,,•in_ of
water to the Olympic View P. ect, managed by the Housing Authority of the
City of Port Townsend. To date, this contract has not been returned to us.
:e vrez•a instructed by our 1hegional Office to make no payments until a legal
agreement has been executed between the Government and the City. As we would
like to have this matter settled, please accent or reject the proposed water
contract.
Also, we v;ould like to have settled the eurbaee contract between theI
Housing Authority of the City of Port Townsend and the City of Port Townsend.

^:e are holding payment of' the bills backed up by a contract.

For your information, we wish to add that this is not the only revenue
to be turned back to the City as our Eeglonal Office has estimated $2000 in
tares to be paid to the City and County next year.

It was moved by CouaciL`run Carroll and seconded by Councilman Brown, that the
contract proposed by the Housing Authority, be returned waigned together with a request
that a fozrm of contract be submitted which could con -ply with the terms of the Ordinance
governing the sule of water. Lotion carried.

It was moved by Councilman Brown and seconded by Councilman Carroll, that the bid
of 1;'illiarm. Nagel be accepted, and that the F::ayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign
the Contract, and that the check accompanying the bid of Cotton Engineering & Ship-
building Corporation, be returned. Upon roll call vote, all four Councilmen present
voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.

Council recess at this time (8:15) P.M. for a short period. 1Yotion carried.

The Council reconvened in regular session at 8:28 o'clock P.M., and upon roll

Y7m. Lammers Sr., J. 1S. Carroll and G. F. Mueller.
