To date, this contract has not been returned to us. :e vrez•a instructed by our 1hegional Office to make no payments until a legal agreement has been executed between the Government and the City. As we would like to have this matter settled, please accent or reject the proposed water contract. Also, we v;ould like to have settled the eurbaee contract between theI Housing Authority of the City of Port Townsend and the City of Port Townsend. IT ^:e are holding payment of' the bills backed up by a contract. s For your information, we wish to add that this is not the only revenue to be turned back to the City as our Eeglonal Office has estimated $2000 in tares to be paid to the City and County next year. Nagel be accepted, and that the F::ayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the Contract, and that the check accompanying the bid of Cotton Engineering & Ship- building Corporation, be returned. Upon roll call vote, all four Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
