Corporation, for a term of ten years beginning on October 1, 1958, at
a rental of N15,000.00 par year, which lease shall be in the form set
forth in said Ordinanco No. ?

several precincts of the City for said election:

BE IT FUhTHLR RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to cause said election to be published in the Port Townsend Leader
on June 8, 1944, and to cause such notice to be posted at each of the
voting places hereinbefore designated at. least thirty days (and not
more than forty days) prior to said election.
BE IT 'FURTHER RES,LVLD, That an emergency exists requiring the call-
ing of said election end the Jefferson County Election Board be and it is
hereby requested to call said special election and to join in the notice
for the call of said special election as hereinbefore set forth, and
that the City Clerk furnish to said Election Board a certified copy
of this resolution.

Resclution Adopted
It was roved by Councilmen. L:aroldo and seconded by Councilman Carroll that
the foregoing resolution be adopted. Upon roll call vote, all seven Councilmen
present voted in the affirmative and motion was ceclared carried.

Kr. I:. A. Sugge, Ex -Official City Engineer, reported to the Council that plans
and zpecil'Scaticns had been completed for construction of Sea Calls at the foot
of C•uincy and Tyler streets, and that advertisement for bids to be opened at the
regular session of June 6, 1944, had been made.
'Ahere being no further business before the Council for their consideration at
this time, it was moved by Councilman "uroldo and seconded by Councilman Brown,
that the Council do now adjourn. Yotion carried.
