for the taking of all right , title and interest of the said City of Port
Tovrnsend in and to said portions of streets as stated in the Amended Dec-
laration of 'faking and in Second Amended Petition in Condemnation.
BE IT FURTiiF;"r, s,ESULC' that the City Attorney of Port Townsend, Jefi'-
erson County, State of 7,ashington, be, and he is hereby authorized to sign
and execute any necessary or proper instruments for the carrying into effect
t'-e sense of this resolution.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Vfash.ington,
signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of

Re:- Aerial Ladder Purchase
The Council at this time took up consideration of the matter of the purchase of
an Aerial Ladder 'Truck by the City, to augment the present Fire Department equipment.
Kr. Floyd Rayton, representative of Howard -Cooper Corporation, who visa present by in-
vitntion, presented to the Council, literature, facts and i'igures, upon the Seagraves
Aerial Ladder ':ruck, dist:•ibuted by his company, and spoke regarding the availability
of this equipment, and necessary procedure for squiring this type of equipment.
Recess
It was moved by Councilman Mueller and seconded by Councilman Brown that the
Council recess at this time, (8:20 P.::.), for a short period. Motion carried.
Reconvened and Roll Call
The Council reconvened in regular session at 8:35 o'clock P.M., and upon roll call
the follov:ing Officers a nd "embers ;;ere noted present: Mayor H..i. Anderson, City
Attorney, V.. J. Daly, City Clerk, C. F. Christian, and Councilmen 0. F. Mueller, J. F.

Revert To Resolution
The Yayor announced that the order of Eusiness would temporarily revert to
Ordinances and Resolutions, and the following F.esolution was read before the Council.
RESOLUTION No. 44-5
1"HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, has
learned with regret of the passing of Harry L. Hirtzler, a former
City Councilman and Yayor of the City of Port Townsend, and,
7,11E7:EAS, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, deems
it fitting and proper that the record of Mr. Hirtzler as a
faithful nub_ic servant be made manifest, therefore,
BE IT t'ESOLVEU by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, 17ns'nington, in regular session assembled, that this
resolution be adopted, and that a copy hereof be appropriately
transmitted.
ADOPTED this lath day of L:ay, 1944.

sore, and that he felt that some arrangement should be made in order that collections
