Erickson Re Water Line Mr. E. W. Erickson, local manager for Crown-Zellorbach Corporation, who was present in the Council Chambers, was invited at this time to present such matters as he might wish to the members present. Mr. Erickson outlined in some detail the present condition of the mai! water supply line now under lease to Crown-Zellerbach. Iie stated that, in his opinion, it was necessary to replace certain portions of this line and he felt that some decision shoull be reached as to how this was to be accomplished. A question and answer discussion followed for some time and, as it soon became apparen that this matter was sufficiently important to warrant the presence of all Councilmen and officers of the City, it was moved by Councilman Liaroldo and seconded by Councilman brown that the Council recess until Thursday, January 20, 1944, at 7:30 o'clock P.i-:, and that the Clerk notify all Councilmen and officer to that effect and request their presence at that time. :wotion carried. RECOI'NEUED Ate ROLL CALL The City Council reconvened in regular session this 20th day of January, 1944, at 7:30 o'clock P.?:. with L.nyor H. E. Anderson presiding and the following officers and members ::'er noted present upon roll call: Mayor H. E. Anderson, City Attorney, W. J. Daly, City Clerk, C. F. Christian and Councilmen Dennis Sullivan, J. F. Yavoldo, Edward Buse, Hobert %7. brown ''!m. Lammers, Sr., J. 1,1. Carroll and G. F. t:ueller. 7:ater Line Consideration Resumed For the benefit of those officers and members not present on January 18, Mr. Erickson again outlined the condition of the pipe under discussion, stated his opinion of the neces- sity of repair and his Trish to arrive at some agreement whereby this objective might be accomplished. This was again followed by a general discussion for a short period. RECESS It was moved by Councilman Carroll and seconded by Councilman Brown that the Council do now: recess for a short period. ADJ OURNISENT There being no further matter for consideration before the Council at this time, it was moved by Councilman eiaroldo and seconded by Councilman Brown that the Council do now adjourn. Motion carried.
