Park Fund Emergency Ordinance An emergency ordinance providing for the appropriation and expenditure of monies from the Park Fund during the year 1944 was presented and read as follows: OhDINAINCE 140. /! F �_ All ORDIRAI;CE providing for the expenditure of money during the year 1944 for the Park Department of the City of Port Townsend, and declaring an emergency. MlEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the official budget for the Park Depart- ment for the year 1944, and through inadvertence and a transposition of figures, the salary of the Parr. Caretaker was fired at the yearly salnry of 41260.00 instead of the sum of j1620.00, and, ;,'HEREAS it now appears to the City Council that such error should be corrected and the deficiency forthwith appropriated, therefore, TH CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT T0:":.SEND DO OhDAIN AS FOLLO":S: Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated for expenditure during the year 1944 for the Park Fund of said City the sun of .'360.00, chargeable to the official budget of said city for said fund and said budget be and same is hereby amended to read as follows: PANY_ DEPAhT1:ENT Salary of caretaker V1620.00 Section 2.
