It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman haroldo that the fore-
going bills be allowed and that the E:ayor and City Clerk be authorized to
issue warrants
upon the proper funds, in payment
thereof. Upon roll -call vote all six
Councilmen present
voted in the affirmative and motion
was declared carried.
Nagel Claim Presented
The City Clerk presented for
consideration of the Council the claim
of Mr. William
Nagel, representing the retained
percentage for the contract awarded I,ir.
Nagel upon
C. S. P. J47 and work accented at
a former session,and informed the members
present that
the claim had been made in sufficient
amount to cover the item of state
sales tax which
had been omitted in the original
estimate. Inasmuch as the witholding is
a matter of com-
pliance with law and the completion
of contract had been accepted by the
Council, the
warrant in payment would be paid
at the expiration of the necessary thirty
days.
