going resolution be adopted and upon roll -call vote, all five Councilman present voted

Re: Engineer's Club Admissions
'
The Mayor stated for the information of those present that he had been advised during
the period of recess that monies taken in at the door of the Engineer's Club were member -
shin dues which were delinquent and must be paid before admission to the Club and in not
any sense an admission charge as reported to him previously.
Re: Play -Ground Liability
A short discussion relative to the matter of liability in the case of children hurt
or injured upon play grounds used under the supervised recreation program was carried on

at this time, but no decision reached and no notion taken.

There being no further business for presentation to the Council at this time, it was

moved by Councilman brown and seconded by Councilman Sullivan that the Council do now ad-
journ. Liotion carried.

The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, ;°ashington met in regular session this
20th day of July, 1943, at 7:30 o'clock P. M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
Mayor I1. E. Anderson presiding.
ROLL CALL
Officers and members answering present to roll call were as follows: Llayor H.-E. An-
derson; City Attorney W. J. Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian; and Councilmen G. F. Mueller,
J. F. Llaroldo, Edward Buse, Robert W. Brown, William Lammers, Sr., and Dennis Sullivan.
MINUTES OF THE PhEVIOUS SESSION
The minutes of the previous session were read and there being no corrections or omis-

sions stood approved as read.
BILLS AND CLAIMS
The City Clerk reported that the estimate and approval of the City Engineer, W. A.
Bugge, upon the claim of LIr. William Nagel for work performed under contract known as
•
City Street Project No. 7 had been received and that a warrant would be issued as pro-
vided by action of the Council at the last regular session.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS
City Treasurer
The monthly report of the City Treasurer fox' the month of June, 1943, was presented

and read and referred to the Committee on Finance and Claims.
Pater Superintendent
The report of the Water Superintendent for the month of June, 1943, was presented and
read and referred to the Committee on Plater and Drainage.
The report of the Water Superintendent shorting flow of rater through main -line meters
for the week ending July 19, 1943 and the National Paper Products Company's meter for the
week ending July 10, 1943, was presented and read and referred to the Committee on Water
and Drainage.
