Mr. Shelby invited questions by members of the Council and answered those presented satisfactorily. Mr. Hayes Lvans, Sanitarian of the Olympic Health District, of which the i ICity is an integral part, stated for the information of those present that he had made a condemnation of the water sources at Chimacum. A general discussion relative to the var- I+.I ious phases and problems confronting the city in furnishing such service ensued for a short period. Extension to Chimacum Schools Authorized It was moved by Councilman Carroll that the (later Superintendent be given authority to purchase the necessary pipe supplies and to extend the city water service from the Had- lock-Irondale line to the Chimacum schools. This motion was seconded by Councilman Buse, and upon roll -call vote, Councilmen Sullivan, Carroll, Mueller, Maroldo, and Buse voted in the affirmative, and Councilmen Brown and Lamers voted in the negative, and motion was declared carried by reason of constitutional majority. E Re: Two -Hour Parking I Mayor Anderson stated that it was his understanding that there were to be present at this meeting a representative delegation of the local Chamber of Commerce for the purpose j of protesting against the two-hour parking limitation upon certain streets as provided by ordinance, but that there seemed to be no one present to represent the Chamber of Commerce. Ct A discussion followed at which various Councilmen expressed their beliefs and opinions in the matter but no action was taken which would in any. way, affect the present status of this ordinance and its enforcement. ADJOURNLZNT There being no further business presented for consideration by the Council at this time ( I it was moved by Councilman Carroll and seconded by Councilman Maroldo that the Council do now adjourn. Motion carried.
