Water and Drainage The report of the committee on Water and Drainage to whom was referred the matter of the water Supt's. report for the month of April, 1942 was presented and read and ordered filed. BUILDING PERMITS ® Requests for permission to build were presented and read as follows: From Albert F. Stilson, to -wit: Port Townsend, Wadhington ® May 25, 1942 Honorable Mayor and City Council Port Townsend; Washington Gentlemen: Permission is requested to build a one room, frame, cabin, 16, x 241, on my property situate Block 266, Eisenbeis Addition; at an estimated cost of approximately $150.00 for materials. June 2, 1942 To the Honorable Mayor and City Councilman of Port Townsend Washington. Vie herewith request the granting of the enclosed franchise. The copy of the proposed Ordinance which visa attached to the foregoing letter was ead in full at this time to be considered as the first reaeing of said proposed Ordinance efore the council as follows: ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Olympic Pile Driving Company, a corporation, its suc- cessors and assigns, to construct and maintain wharves, building docks, marine ways and gridiron on Monroe Street, commencing on the South side of Water Street, between Blocks 4 and 5 of the Original Townsite of Port Townsend, State of Washington; and thence ex- tending in a Southerly directionk including all that portion of Monroe Street between Blocks 4 and 5 and extending to the inner harbor lines or deep water; and that portion of Front Streets South of Lot 1, Block 4, and Lots 1, 3 5 and Lot 7 of Block 6. All aforesaid lots and blocks of the Original Townsite of the City of Port Townsend, Wash- ington, according to the duly recorded plat thereof on file in the office of the County Auditor, Jefferson County, State of Washington.
