Minutes of REGULAR SESSION of City Council, November 18, 1941
The City Council of the City Port Townsend, 'Washington met in regular session this 18th
day of November, 1941 at 7:30 o'clock P.L:. in the Council chambers of the City Fall, Mayor
H. E. Anderson presiding,
ROLL CALL
Officers and "mbers ans-wering present to Roll Call were as follows: Llayor H. E. Ander
son, City Attorney, 7., J. Daly, City Clerk, C. F. Christian and councilmen, J. 1% Carroll,
J. F. !Laroldo, Robt. 71. Brown end 'Wm. Lam::;ers, Sr.

It ,was moved by Council::.an Brown and seconded by councilman I:aroldo that the minutes
of the previous session be approved as read. ILotion carried.
BILLS AND CLA=S
The Claim of L;r. R. J. Young for right of rray for the Fort Flogler ^later line extension
in the sus: of w75.00 and the Clain of Allen and Govir., Inc. for final payment on the :".illow
Street Serer Construction Contract ir the sum of s;1,147,72 were presented by the City Clerk
and it was thereupon moved'by Couneilr:an Brown and seconded b Col,reilman Maroldo that the
Rules of the Council be suspended to allow passage of these Claims, that the Claims be al-
loyed and that the LSayor and City Clerk be authorized to issue warrants upon the proper
funds in paynert the.eof. Upon Roll Call vote all four councilmen present voted in the af-
firmative and motion :was declared carried,
REPORTS OF CFr ICERS
City Treasurer
The monthly report of the City Treasurer for the month of October, 1941 wuz presented
and read and referred to the Finance Covmlttee.
Chief of Police
The monthly report of the Chief of Police for tsic month of October, 1941 shoring ar-
rests and disposition of cases was presented and read and ordered filed.
'eater Superintendent
The monthly report of the 'dater Superintendent for the month of October, 1941 was pre-
sented and read and referred to the comc:attee on ..star and Drainage.
The report of the !'rater Superintendent sho'Swing flow: of rater through the main line
meters for the creek. ending Rovember 17, 1941 and through the National Paper Products Company
meter for the week. ending November 6, 1941 w:as presented and read and ordered filed.
It was moved by councilman Carroll and seconded by councilman Laroldo that the Council
recess at this time (6:00 o'clock P.1%) for a short period. 1.otlon carried.

The Council reconvened in regular session at 8:50 o'clock P.IG, and upon Roll Call the
following officers and members were noted present: Idayor E. E. Anderson, City Attorney,
J. Daly, City Clerk., C. F. Christian and Councilmen, J. 1:. Carroll, J. F. 11aroldo, Robt.

Gentlemen -
Your Committee, on '.'rater and Drainage to whom was referred the matter of
the proposed modification of the agreement of lease of the Later supply line, between
the City and Nat. Paper Prod. Co., would respectfully report as fo11o',wa, It is the
opinicn of the committee that the proposed modification is neither necessary or advisab
would not best serve the needs and interests of the City; therefor, it is recom:rended
no change be made in the present agreement.
