From George Carlin, to-trit:
June 26, 1941
Honorable City Council
Port Townsend, lashington
Gentlemen:
I should like your honorable body at its next regular meeting to
take up the question of vacating the right-of-way retained by the City of Port Townsend
across Lot 7, Block 30, Hastings First Addition.
I understand that use of this right-of-way for the construction of a street
or road is extremely improbable, and I feel your body could best benefit the community
by granting a vacation of this right-of-way so an improvement of this property, with
a consequent addition to the tax rolls, might be commenced.
I,
Yours very truly,
j George Carlin
