Puget ouna Basin n t e operation and functions of the Puget Sound R gional Planning ODm-
mission, created, organized and functioning under the provisions of Chapter 44, Session Laws
of 1935 of the State of Y:ashington, and
"'ILREAS, such cooperation is essential to the ?roper and orderly development of
the regional problems in the Puget Sound Basin territory, proposing sloutions for sane and
to lend assistance towards coordinating the activities of agencies now existing or ,:hick may
come into being with relation to such problems, and
71"HEREAS, such coorination Is more especially desireable in connection with the
purpose of national defense for this area, and
in accordance with the constitution and by -lags of the Puget Sound Rog-
ionnl Picnninr Conxiission rroviding for regular membership in said organization, now, there-
fore,

Puget Sound RgGional Planning Commission, we adopt hererwith and designate
and to represent els body as members of sa Puget Soun
Regional Planning Commission.

adopted essentially as presented with modifications accessary to conform to local conditions

City Attorney Daley reported action taken to secure rigi:t-of-aay for the proposed Fort
Flagler •cater line,stated that easement had been secured from Jefferson County at no cost,
that the -)roposed line ordered also cross prorerties of t)l- Adams Estate, it. E. Young and
3adlock, that ^ermission iiad;eL';ranted tsf Federal Government to cross
t.eepe propert--pet no formal,enserents have as yet been granted.

Councilaman Yaroldo reported for the police and licence committee, upon the application
of Mr. Guy Loss which had :tecn referred to at previous sessions stated that now definite
(decision had been reached and that he felt that the council as a whole should decide upon
bee matter inns -much as the council r:ems On record by resolution as opposing the issuance of
lacy further Licences. Nofurtheraction was taken upon this matter at this time.

Moved ty Councilman Brown and seconded by Councilman I:aroldo that the City Attorney
authorized to 'egointc the -ourehase of the "Fritz Prorerty{' adjoining the City gravel pit
in Petty grovels Second Addition. Yotion carried.
